Hey…been a looong time I know! I wont even say that the reason I haven’t posted in a while is because I’ve been busy. While that is indeed true, that’s not why I haven’t posted anything for a bit now. The reason is this; I wanted to be led by the Holy Spirit. I didn’t just want it to be about me and what ‘I felt’ was a good post. I also think that God is leading me to a somewhat different direction, not entirely away from blogging but there’s been more push towards counselling people personally and getting them right with God as well as praying earnestly for them.
It’s amazing how quickly God is using me and my husband to reconcile people back to Him, most especially in their relationships (married & single). The messages and calls have been endlesssss! A lot of people are so inspired by our marriage and we are only a month and 8 days in. However one of our anchor scripture is 1Timothy 4:12 – Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.
That’s one of the many great things about our God, He can use anyone for His purpose…ANYONE, ANY AGE. It don’t matter. He cannot be limited by anything not even time (2Peter 3:8 – But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day). When He sees a heart that is willing to carry out His assignment, He pours more into us, and does great things through us. ALL FOR HIS GLORY!! Not ours! We live for Him and not the other way round.
So yeah, I’m so ready for the things God wants to accomplish in the earth through us. We are sold out to Him! Its not even about us…its never about us! It’s always about Him! We knew our marriage wasn’t really about us, but the birthing of Gods purpose through us in the earth. I think a lot of people get it wrong from the beginning, when they think that it’s about them. No booboo, even when you fight your spouse for instance, you are fighting the will of God and not your spouse. So our focus should always be on God and pleasing Him not on worldly things that can never satisfy.
Another thing is this, we can’t be lukewarm about it. I remember reference was made to this effect in the movie WAR ROOM, which I think everyone should see! We can’t be in-between; (Revelations 3:15-16 – “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!”). He knows our hearts position. He knows those who are passionate about Him and all in for Him. He knows those who are seeking Him genuinely and those who are just seeking His hand (what God can do for me). He knows! (John 10:17- My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me). They are people who respond to Gods word. They are not perfect people but people who are walking towards perfection through Christ. So no we can’t be half and half. Either its white or its black, no shades of grey. There’s no way God will not reward you when you seek Him wholeheartedly, me and my husband are living testimonies. HE comes through! ALWAYS (Psalm 37:25 – Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread.).
My prayer today is that we all come to the unity of the faith and knowledge in the Son of God. And if anyone needs help in getting to this place, getting to a point where you don’t want to look back rather you desire to press on towards God, I’m here to help. I do promise to guide you with the help of the Holy Spirit, pray with you and for you. I’ll leave my info below and you can send me an email stating your concerns, questions, or even prayer requests, I’ll definitely respond. Even you that you feel your relationship with God is not where you want it to be but you want that to change. God sees the heart and His arms are always open wide. His word says draw near to me and I will draw near to you. If you need help I’m here also. Even if you aren’t a ‘Christian’, you can still reach out.
While salvation is personal and you may want to do this on your own, I’ll still encourage you to have people around you who will build you up, and attend a church where the word is being taught and you’re being fed in your spirit and not your soul. Because the devil will still hang around you and once he finds you alone he can easily attack you, and you find yourself in and out of your old ways. That happened to me. Its good to have someone you’re accountable to, someone you know will be praying for you and can pray with you, encourage you, and tell you when you are falling off the grid.
That’s the beauty of fellowshipping with other believers. The devil knows that he can easily break you when you’re alone but when you join with other believers he can hardly penetrate. Imagine trying to break a broomstick its easy but try breaking the bunch, its much more difficult. Don’t get me wrong, one with God is majority, but the Bible also says that one will chase a thousand but two will put ten thousand to flight…Another scripture says (Ecclesiastes 4:10 – If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble). So basically, I’m here to help, not because I know it all but because that’s why we are here as Christians, to help one another grow into the image of God.
